Questions most Christians have as to whether President Obama is really a Christian as he claims seem to be resolving themselves.

Recently, Mr Obama publicly announced that his destiny is not dependent on a "personal salvation" but rather a "group salvation." It depends on what he does for the greater good of the masses. This is classic Marxist type thinking, not Christian. Marxism teaches that the rights of the group supersede the rights of the individual and that the end justifies the means. It is really a humanistic kind of "bloodless" salvation by human works.

On the other hand, the Bible teaches that eternal salvation is entirely personal. We can only be saved by a personal decision of faith to receive the pardon for sins that the LORD Jesus Christ died in our place to purchase for us.

The Bible teaches, "For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast." (Eph. 2:8-9) The one who is saved will have good works produced in him by the indwelling Spirit of God. These "good works" will receive a reward, but they do not earn an individual's salvation.

The LORD Jesus Christ declared, "He who believes in Him (Christ) is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God." (John 3:18) This verse shows that salvation is dependent on a personal decision to believe in Christ's redemptive work in one's place. The one who rejects it is already eternally condemned. This personal condemnation is only removed by a personal act of faith in the Son of God. In this verse, Jesus declares that there are only two kinds of people in the world as far as eternity is concerned - those who believe in His Son and those who do not.

A person's Eternal Destiny is totally individual and personal according to the Bible. One decision of faith determines a person's eternal destiny.

What is increasingly clear is that Mr Obama cares much more about not offending Islam than Christianity. He had Muslim leaders into the White House to celebrate one of the most important annual Muslim events - the Feast of Ramadan. At this occasion he announced that he favors allowing a new Mosque built by Ground Zero, in defiance of the thousands of victims of 9/11 as well as Christian sensibilities to this Religious favoritism.

Mr Obama's beliefs are also becoming apparent in the decisions he has made vis-a-vis the Muslims and Israel. He has refused every Israeli request for critically needed military updates. While at the same time he has approved numerous quantitative and qualitative Muslim requests for military weapons.

This has caused Israel to become gravely imperiled by losing its formerly guaranteed qualitative edge over the vastly more numerous Muslim armies that surround her.

What a man does is more important than what he says, especially in the regime we face now. Wake up Americans!
