Dear God I have never thanked you for my thorns. Teach me the glory of the cross I bear; teach
me the value of my thorns. Show me that I have climbed closer to you along the path
of pain.... Amen!

Russia and Venezuela call for a multi-polar world based on international law, not military strength. Speaking at a news conference after talks with Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez in Caracas, Prime Minister Vladimir Putin said the expansion of military cooperation between Russia and Venezuela should cause no concerns since the annual defense expenditure of all nations, if put together, would still fail to meet the US figures. Russia and Venezuela have signed an impressive package of agreements on cooperation in aircraft manufacturing, shipbuilding, energy, education, transport and agriculture. The Russian companies are to pay 1 billion dollars for participation in the development of Hunin-6 oil field in the basin of the Orinoco River. Russia’s Avtovaz will supply Venezuela with more than two thousand cars and will build a car manufacturing plant in the country. President Chavez said Venezuela could build a nuclear power plant with the support of Russia. In Caracas Prime Minister Putin also held talks with President Evo Morales of Bolivia on bilateral trade and economic ties.
