IN THE USA WE ARE WORRIED ABOUT OBAMCARE AND PICKING ON THE BANKS AND STOCK MARKET. THROW IN CAP AND TAX PLUS OUT OF SIGHT SPENDING.
INSTEAD, WE ALL SHOULD  BE IN CHURCH AND PRAYING FOR OUR  LAW MAKERS IN WASHINGTON D.C....SHADD ADDS HIS AMEN TO THAT!!!!


I THINK THE WAR OF GOG AND MAGOG ARE ON THE HORIZON...AND MY BONES DON'T FEEL GOOD ABOUT IT EITHER.

Israel is not interested in war with Lebanon, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu said in a statement Saturday, seemingly in response to a Likud minister's comment that another conflict with Hizbullah was "inevitable."

"The State of Israel does not want any confrontation with Lebanon," read a statement issued by the Prime Minister's Office.
Earlier in the day, Minister-without-Portfolio Yossi Peled had said, "Without a doubt we are heading for another round (of fighting) in the North. No one knows when, but it's clear that it will happen."
"We did not know that the SecondLebanon War was going to break out," the former OC Northern Command said, some three-and-a-half years after the war against Hizbullah.
Also Saturday, The Washington Post reported that Hizbullah had moved long-range-missile launch pads into both northern Lebanon and the Bekaa Valley, and that there was little the UN presence in the area could do to stop a war between Israel and the guerrilla group.
Quoting Middle East analysts, The Washington Post report went on to say Hizbullah launch sites now likely extend past Beirut.
The IDF believes that Hizbullah has obtained Iranian-made Fajr missiles, either the Fajr 3 or Fajr 5. The Fajr 3 is five meters long and can carry a 45-kilogram warhead.
Lebanese MP Marwan Hamadeh was also quoted in the report, noting the influence of Iran and the United States on the regional conflict. "With Iran backing and supplying Hezbollah and the United States backing and supplying Israel, the battlefield isLebanon," the anti-Hizbullah lawmaker reportedly said.
"This is where the Iranian missiles sit, and this is where the Israeli air force can reach," he added.

Clinton’s warning to Iran prompts Syria, Hezbollah to go on high alert

Tensions were heightened after the press conference of Secretary of State Hilary Clinton when, on Friday, the A-Sharq al-Awsat daily paper reported that Syria and Hezbollah had gone on high alert in anticipation of an Israeli attack on Lebanon. The London-based newspaper said that Hezbollah has been alarmed by recent IDF reinforcements to the Israel – Lebanon border, and quoted Hezbollah deputy general secretary Naeem Kassem as saying that the group’s armed wing had prepared plans to retaliate. Syria has begun to mobilize reserve troops, including nationals residing in Lebanon.
According to analysts , Clinton hinted in the press conference that the US has enough international support to act against the Iranian nuclear facilities just like it did in 1991 ( Gulf War) against Saddam Hussein following his occupation of Kuwait.
She said that Iran had a ‘clear choice’ between isolation and ‘living up to its international obligations’ and added ‘it is important to send [the] message to the Iranian leadership, that the world will act, and the world will act together.’
French FM Bernard Kouchner said Thursday during his meeting with Lebanese P Saad Hariri “: If there was a threat to Lebanon, it will only come from a military adventure carried out by Hezbollah in the best interest of Iran”

France Vows to Prevent Israeli Strike on Lebanon's Infrastructure

Beirut and Paris, Asharq Al-Awsat - Well-informed Lebanese sources confirmed to Asharq Al-Awsat that French President Nicolas Sarkozy informed Lebanese officials that France has vowed to try to prevent Israel from bombarding Lebanon’s basic infrastructure “but no more than that.” Sarkozy stressed to Lebanese officials that it was imperative to “control the internal situation in Lebanon and prevent any provocations.”
A parliament member from the Future bloc, which is headed by Lebanese Prime Minister Saad al Hariri, revealed to Asharq Al-Awsat that al Hariri, through his international and Arab ties, was trying to form a safety net to prevent an Israeli attack.
The Lebanese MP highlighted that Hezbollah should not provide Israel with any pretexts for launching an assault on Lebanon. He also referred to the efforts exerted by Saudi Arabia and other countries towards the US administration to pressure Israel not to attack Lebanon.

Future MP Okab Saqr told Asharq Al-Awsat that the endeavours of Lebanese Prime Minister Saad al Hariri aim to strengthen the Lebanese internal state.

Following his meeting with French President Nicolas Sarkozy in Paris, Lebanese Prime Minister Saad al Hariri said that Lebanon supports the French initiative to hold a peace conference in Paris. He added that both he and the French President are tackling the “challenges” the region is currently facing. He quoted the French President as saying that he is willing to take concrete steps in this regard.

Concerning Lebanon’s demands to provide arms to its military, al Hariri quoted Sarkozy as saying that France is willing to assist Lebanon in all fields, alluding to Lebanon’s right to obtain the weapons it needs.
